DiscoFeed Go Live Checklist for Shopify Advertisers
✅ Set your bid - either CPA/CPO here or your CPC bid range here
✅ Ensure 4 products are enabled for cross-sell
✅ Create an offer
Detailed Instructions
1. Confirm your categories and subcategories (Settings > Brand and DiscoFeed > Manage)
In your Settings tab, confirm your brand's categories and subcategories and adjust as needed. This helps our ML algorithms learn faster where to advertise you.
Categories: Be as specific as possible to ensure the accuracy of your brand's exposure across the network.
Subcategories: Based on each category selected, choose the subcategory that best describes your products. Only select subcategories that directly relate to your product catalog.
2. Select and update at least four products (DiscoFeed > Products)
Ensure you've enabled at least four products for cross-sell and that they're in line with the Disco Brand Guidelines.
2a. Set up any UTM parameters (top right of DiscoFeed > Products).
3. Set up an offer (DiscoFeed > Offers and Leads)
Brands with offers get featured prominently. Follow this article for detailed steps. Special tip: if you create and offer with a promo code, Disco can drive 2-3x more traffic to your site than without an offer in place at all.
3a. Upload a banner image (DiscoFeed > Manage) that showcases the vibe of your brand in a clean and crisp way. Make sure to take a peak at the size and resolution guidelines by clicking "Change Banner". This will show up behind your logo and shop description.
What to Expect After Setup
The first few weeks on Disco will be a ramping period for our machine learning algorithm and it could take 1-3 months for it to be fully optimized.
In the meantime, join the Disco Slack Community and introduce yourself to make connections with fellow marketers using Disco.
