Your offer is what shoppers see when DiscoAds shows your brand — a heading, a description, your creative, and where the click goes. As you build it, a live preview on the right shows how it'll look (it varies slightly by publisher, but the components are always the same). This guide covers creating an offer, the OffersAI copy assist, and managing your offers.
Create an offer
In Offers, click New Offer, then fill in:
- Offer name — an internal label just for you (e.g., "Black Friday / Cyber Monday 2026"). Shoppers never see it.
- What's the deal? — choose the offer type — % Off, Fixed $, BOGO, Free Ship, or Free Gift — set the amount, and enter the promo code shoppers will redeem.
- Heading & CTA — pre-filled from your brand; edit to taste. Lead with the offer, not your brand name. Heading max 50 characters; subheading max 175. Pick a CTA (Shop Now, Claim Offer, Get Deal, Redeem Now…).
- Landing page URL — where shoppers land after clicking. Send them to the page that matches the offer, and include your UTM parameters so conversions track correctly (see Ad specs and creative guidelines).
- Disclosure (if any) — link to your terms, or show disclosure text inline (e.g., "offer valid for new customers only"). It doesn't appear in the preview, but shows just below the CTA. Toggle it off if you don't need it.
Then Save changes — your offer appears in your offers list.
OffersAI copy assist (optional)
Toggle on OffersAI Optimization and Disco will suggest heading and subheading copy, and can generate alternative versions to test. Always review the suggestions before saving — the model doesn't know your brand voice. Edit anything that's off, or leave the toggle off and write your own.
About your creative
What you need depends on your platform:
- On Shopify — your logo plus your top four products, selected on your Setting up your Products tab (Shopify) — those product images power the Gallery and Featured product formats.
- Not on Shopify — just your logo; your offer renders in the Text + logo format.
Disco also requests a banner image from every advertiser — nice to have on file, not required to launch. For image requirements, the banner spec, and formats, see Ad specs and creative guidelines.
Manage your offers
Your offers list shows each offer's status (active / inactive). To test variations, make a copy of an offer and edit the copy — change the heading, CTA, or deal — then rename it (e.g., "v2") so you can tell them apart. Archive offers you're not using to keep the list tidy.
Quality check before you submit
- Creative is not blurry and has no text baked into the image as an overlay.
- Heading and landing page describe the same offer.
- The CTA matches what the shopper gets when they click.
