A conversion is any purchase made within your attribution window after a shopper clicks or views your offer. By default, your window is 14 days for clicks and 14 days for views — and you're not locked in: if you'd like a different window, contact your Disco team (or support) and we'll update it for your account. Many brands adjust it to match how they evaluate conversions internally.
How conversions are credited
- Your window applies to both clicks and views of your offer (14 days each by default, adjustable on request).
- A purchase within that window is credited to Disco as a conversion — and that's what your billing is based on.
How this connects to your billing
Disco bills on the conversions in this window, by customer type:
- New and lapsed (12+ months) customers → billed at your Fixed CPA.
- Returning customers → billed at your Fixed CPO.
You can update your Fixed CPA and Fixed CPO month to month. See Setting your bid and Managing your account, team, and billing.
