How it Works
Connecting your Disco account with your BigCommerce account allows us to automatically pull in your BigCommerce products and orders to power our ability to help you learn, grow and sell using Disco. This article covers each part of the setup and configuration process to enable that (there are two starting points, each outlined separately).
Disco Integration Setup in BigCommerce
From within your BigCommerce dashboard, select the Apps option in the left-side menu, followed by the button on the marketplace page to take you to the BigCommerce App Marketplace.
Once you're in the marketplace, search for "Disco" and choose our product tile (or, follow this link to the Disco Marketplace page in BigCommerce).
From that page, choose the Get this App option.
That option sends you to an option to pick an existing BigCommerce store or to make a new store. For simplicity we'll presume you have a BigCommerce store already, so choose that option to land back in your BigCommerce store. Clicking the Install button kicks off the onboarding process for Disco.
Now you're onto the next steps, listed below.
Integration Setup from Disco Onboarding
The first step of onboarding with Disco is selecting the platform your store uses. In this case, select BigCommerce.
This will take you into the Disco onboarding flow where the first course of business is approving Disco's request to access your BigCommerce store data. You may need to log in before you see that page, but once you're in check the compliance box, then Continue.
From there you'll be placed into a similar page as before, this time it will indicate that we've been authorized, and selecting Continue will continue your onboarding process.
Testing and Next Steps
More information on onboarding with Disco can be found in our Getting Started with Disco article.
It takes a bit of time for us to pull products into your Disco account, but in the meantime you should make sure you test your post purchase experience with the DiscoFeed to ensure it's working smoothly. BigCommerce has a helpful article for this purpose: Creating a Test Order in BigCommerce
